What you should know before you buy.
Yes. Your license unlocks the current major version (1.x) and all minor and patch updates within it. We'll release 2.x someday — that'll be a paid upgrade for Hold Fast and Crew holders. Anchor (Lifetime) gets it free.
You can run Cleat on up to 3 of your own machines at once (desktop, laptop, work computer). Manage and deactivate them anytime from your account. Need more? Email us — we're reasonable.
Crew comes with 5 seats. You invite teammates from your account — each gets their own license and their own 3 activations. Add more seats anytime for $35 each. One billing email, one invoice.
Checkout is handled by LemonSqueezy: all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and SEPA for EU customers. You'll receive a proper VAT/sales-tax invoice for the Crew tier and on request for the others.

Yes. License verification is a one-time online check, then Cleat works offline forever. If the licensing server goes dark, your existing installs keep running. We're a small company; we'd rather build trust than leverage.
The Cleat app itself is paid (free 14-day trial). The plugin ecosystem and SDK are open-source on GitHub. We think this is a fair split — the core tool funds the platform.
