We want you to love Cleat. If it doesn't fit how you work, we'll refund the purchase — no questions asked, no forms, no hoops.
30-day money-back guarantee
Within 30 days of your purchase, you may request a full refund of the license fee. We don't ask why. The product either earned a place in your workflow or it didn't, and we'd rather you have the money than a tool that didn't fit.
How to request a refund
Email sayhello@cleat.tools from the address associated with your purchase, and include either:
- Your Cleat license key (it looks like
CLEAT-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX), or - The LemonSqueezy order number from your receipt.
We typically process refunds within two business days.
What happens when a refund is processed
Your license is marked refunded in our system. The desktop app will detect the revocation on its next periodic refresh and prompt you to enter a different key, or to stop using Cleat if you no longer have one.
The refunded amount is returned to your original payment method by LemonSqueezy, our merchant of record. The time for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer — typically 5–10 business days.
After 30 days
We don't have a formal post-30-day refund policy, but if something has gone wrong on our end — a bug we caused, a feature we broke, a charge that surprised you — email us anyway. We're a small team and we want you to be happy with the purchase. Edge cases will get a real reply from a real person.
Subscription / team licenses
Team-tier seats added after the initial purchase are subject to the same 30-day window measured from the date you added them, not from the original purchase date.
